BEDFORD, IN β€” The Court of Appeals of Indiana has formally upheld a protective order stemming from a sustained neighborhood conflict in Bedford that ultimately led to a criminal conviction.

According to a Memorandum Decision filed on March 31, 2026, the appellate court affirmed the Lawrence Circuit Court's ruling against Bedford resident Debra Goins in favor of her neighbor, identified in court documents as R.W..
