An arrest, a booking, or a mention in a daily log is an allegation, not a conviction. The Lawrence County Watchdog reports on the activity of law enforcement and the judiciary as a matter of public interest; we do not determine guilt or innocence.

All information provided on this website is obtained through official public record channels, including the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, local police agencies, and the Indiana court system. While we strive for 100% accuracy, we report the records exactly as they are provided to us. We are not responsible for clerical errors made by the original reporting agencies.
🚫 3. No-Removal Policy
The Lawrence County Watchdog does not remove legally obtained public records. To maintain the integrity of our historical archive and ensure equal treatment for all citizens, we do not honor requests to delete or "take down" posts. We do not accept payment, donations, or memberships in exchange for the removal of content.

We believe in the accuracy of the complete story. If a case is dismissed, or if an individual is acquitted of all charges, we will update the relevant post to reflect the final court disposition.

- Memberships do not provide a way to have records removed, suppressed, or altered.
- We remain 100% independent and are not beholden to any political office, government agency, or private donor.
