Mitchell Man Arrested After Allegedly Entering Home in Violation of Protection Order 🚨🏠

A Mitchell man is facing a felony residential entry charge after he was allegedly found exiting a local residence where an active protection order was in place.

At approximately 2:12 p.m. on May 5, 2026, an officer with the Mitchell Police Department was dispatched to the 500 block of South 5th Street regarding a report of an unwanted person. The caller informed dispatch that a man had been "camping out" on the porch and refused to leave the property.
