Bedford Man Facing Felony Charges After Allegedly Striking Pregnant Woman Holding Infant ⚖️

A Bedford welfare check turned into a felony domestic battery investigation Wednesday evening after a man reportedly admitted to striking his pregnant girlfriend while she was holding their five-month-old child.

Officers with the Bedford Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of I Street at approximately 6:05 p.m. on April 22, 2026. Upon arrival, police made contact with a female resident and her infant child.
