Bedford Parks Dept Gearing Up for 2026 Limestone Capital Half Marathon β Seeking Sponsors & Volunteers
The Bedford Parks Department has officially announced preparations for the Annual Limestone Capital Half Marathon, 5K, and 1-Mile Walk/Run, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Starting and finishing right in the heart of downtown Bedford at the historic Depot, this marquee autumn event brings hundreds of runners, families, and visitors to Lawrence County from across Indiana and neighboring states.
Last yearβs event drew over 400 participants from across Indiana and nine other states, highlighting local community spirit while showcasing Bedford's downtown district.
Sponsorship & Partnership Opportunities
To make this yearβs race a success, the Bedford Parks Department is seeking local businesses, organizations, and community partners to join as official sponsors:
- Bronze Sponsor ($500): Features sponsor name listing on event shirts, finish line banners, and event website, plus social media recognition, print ads, and regional radio promotional announcements across WQRK, WBIW, and LiteFM.
- Silver Sponsor ($1,000): Includes all Bronze benefits plus pre- & post-race presentations, logo placement on finish line banners, live PA announcements downtown, 50 30-second radio commercials on the station of choice (WQRK, WBIW, or LiteFM), 5 free race entries, and a 5% employee registration discount.
